Yale Secret Society Skull and Bones
Discovery Channel once had a program titled: Best Kept Secrets: Mysterious Societies, that covered the Yale secret society Skull and Bones that boasts an elite alumni who rose to positions of power and influence in America. The Skull and Bones are a sick, degenerate, group of occultists who dress in drag, wrestle each other in the nude, urinate on one another, and have initiation rituals involving grave robbery (the group was sued by Native American hero Geronimo's family recently who sought to get back Geronimo's bones which had been stolen by Prescott Bush for his initiation ritual), and it has even been reported in multiple sources that the Bonesmen are forced to sit in a coffin naked, masturbating, while confessing their sexual history and secrets to the other Bonesmen.
The Skull and Bones tomb where all their meetings take place is reportedly filled with skeletons, occult symbols, and other bizarre crap.
Here is some pictures taken by a Discovery Channel team that snuck into the Tomb:
Note the fountain is made out of two human skeletons.

Eminent Domain and Corporate Welfare
Pfizer and Kelo's Ghost Town
Pfizer bugs out, long after the land grab.
The Supreme Court's 2005 decision in Kelo v. City of New London stands as one of the worst in recent years, handing local governments carte blanche to seize private property in the name of economic development. Now, four years after that decision gave Susette Kelo's land to private developers for a project including a hotel and offices intended to enhance Pfizer Inc.'s nearby corporate facility, the pharmaceutical giant has announced it will close its research and development headquarters in New London, Connecticut.
The aftermath of Kelo is the latest example of the futility of using eminent domain as corporate welfare. While Ms. Kelo and her neighbors lost their homes, the city and the state spent some $78 million to bulldoze private property for high-end condos and other "desirable" elements. Instead, the wrecked and condemned neighborhood still stands vacant, without any of the touted tax benefits or job creation.
That's especially galling because the five Supreme Court Justices cited the development plan as a major factor in rationalizing their Kelo decision. Justice Anthony Kennedy called the plan "comprehensive," while Justice John Paul Stevens insisted that "The city has carefully formulated a development plan that it believes will provide appreciable benefits to the community, including, but not limited to, new jobs and increased tax revenue." So much for that.
Kelo's silver lining has been that it transformed eminent domain from an arcane government power into a major concern of voters who suddenly wonder if their own homes are at risk. According to the Institute for Justice, which represented Susette Kelo, 43 states have since passed laws that place limits and safeguards on eminent domain, giving property owners greater security in their homes. State courts have also held local development projects to a higher standard than what prevailed against the condemned neighborhood in New London.
If there is a lesson from Connecticut's misfortune, it is that economic development that relies on the strong arm of government will never be the kind to create sustainable growth.

The Mystery of the Dead Scientists
Regardless, I have decided to post some of the more bizarre and compelling ones I found, notice how there seems to be so many nuclear scientists and micro biologists on this lists, strange indeed. I would also recommend going to my posting in October, where I brought up the suspicious deaths of UN nuclear scientists.
I'm not saying any of these deaths are related, they may be, they may all just be coincidences.
Nasser Talebzadeh Ordoubadi, 53. Died February 14, of "suspicious" causes. Dr. Noah (formerly Nasser Talebzadeh Ordoubadi) is described in his American biography as a pioneer of Mind-Body-Quantum medicine who lectured in five countries and ran a successful health care center General Medical Clinics Inc. in King County, Washington for 15 years after suffering a heart attack in 1989. Among his notable accomplishments was discovering an antitoxin treatment for bioweapons.
Laurent Bonomo and Gabriel Ferez, both 23. Died July 3, after being bound, gagged, stabbed and set alight. Laurent, a student in the proteins that cause infectious disease, had been stabbed 196 times with half of them being administered to his back after he was dead. Gabriel, who hoped to become an expert in ecofriendly fuels, suffered 47 separate injuries.
Yongsheng Li, age 29. Died: sometime after 4 p.m. on March 10, when he was last seen as a result of unknown causes. He was found in a pond between the Women's Sports Complex and State Botanical Gardens on South Milledge Avenue Sunday and had been missing 16 days. Li was a doctoral student from China who studied receptor cells in Regents Professor David Puett's biochemistry and molecular biology laboratory
Dr. Mario Alberto Vargas Olvera, age 52. Died: Oct. 6, 2007 as a result of several blunt-force injuries to his head and neck. Ruled as murder. Found in his home. He was a nationally and internationally recognized biologist.
Leonid Strachunsky. Died: June 8, 2005 after being hit on the head with a champagne bottle. Strachunsky specialized in creating microbes resistant to biological weapons. Strachunsky was found dead in his hotel room in Moscow, where hed come from Smolensk en route to the United States. Investigators are looking for a connection between the murder of this leading bio weapons researcher and the hepatitis outbreak in Tver, Russia.
Robert J. Lull, age 66. Died: May 19, 2005 of multiple stab wounds. Despite his missing car and apparent credit card theft, homicide Inspector Holly Pera said investigators aren't convinced that robbery was the sole motive for Lull's killing. She said a robber would typically have taken more valuables from Lull's home than what the killer left with. Lull had been chief of nuclear medicine at San Francisco General Hospital since 1990 and served as a radiology professor at UCSF. He was past president of the American College of Nuclear Physicians and the San Francisco Medical Society and served as editor of the medical society's journal, San Francisco Medicine, from 1997 to 1999. Lee Lull said her former husband was a proponent of nuclear power and loved to debate his political positions with others.
Dr. Douglas James Passaro, age 43. Died April 18, 2005 from unknown cause in Oak Park, Illinois. Dr. Passaro was a brilliant epidemiologist who wanted to unlock the secrets of a spiral-shaped bacteria that causes stomach disease. He was a professor who challenged his students with real-life exercises in bioterrorism. He was married to Dr. Sherry Nordstrom..
Geetha Angara, age 43. Died: February 8, 2005. This formerly missing chemist was found in a Totowa, New Jersey water treatment plant's tank. Angara, 43, of Holmdel, was last seen on the night of Feb. 8 doing water quality tests at the Passaic Valley Water Commission plant in Totowa, where she worked for 12 years. Divers found her body in a 35-foot-deep sump opening at the bottom of one of the emptied tanks. Investigators are treating Angara's death as a possible homicide. Angara, a senior chemist with a doctorate from New York University, was married and mother of three.
Jeong H. Im, age 72. Died: January 7, 2005. Korean Jeong H. Im, died of multiple stab wounds to the chest before firefighters found in his body in the trunk of a burning car on the third level of the Maryland Avenue Garage. A retired research assistant professor at the University of Missouri - Columbia and primarily a protein chemist, MUPD with the assistance of the Columbia Police Department and Columbia Fire Department are conducting a death investigation of the incident. A "person of interest" described as a male 6'–6'2" wearing some type of mask possible a painters mask or drywall type mask was seen in the area of the Maryland Avenue Garage. Dr. Im was primarily a protein chemist and he was a researcher in the field.
Taleb Ibrahim al-Daher. Died: December 21, 2004. Iraqi nuclear scientist was shot dead north of Baghdad by unknown gunmen. He was on his way to work at Diyala University when armed men opened fire on his car as it was crossing a bridge in Baqouba, 57 km northeast of Baghdad. The vehicle swerved off the bridge and fell into the Khrisan river. Al-Daher, who was a professor at the local university, was removed from the submerged car and rushed to Baqouba hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Matthew Allison, age 32. Died: October 13, 2004. Fatal explosion of a car parked at an Osceola County, Fla., Wal-Mart store. It was no accident, Local 6 News has learned. Found inside a burned car. Witnesses said the man left the store at about 11 p.m. and entered his Ford Taurus car when it exploded. Investigators said they found a Duraflame log and propane canisters on the front passenger's seat. Allison had a college degree in molecular biology and biotechnology.
Mohammed Toki Hussein al-Talakani, age 40. Died: September 5, 2004: Iraqi nuclear scientist was shot dead in Mahmudiya, south of Baghdad. He was a practicing nuclear physicist since 1984.
Professor John Clark, Age 52, Died: August 12, 2004. Found hanged in his holiday home. An expert in animal science and biotechnology where he developed techniques for the genetic modification of livestock; this work paved the way for the birth, in 1996, of Dolly the sheep, the first animal to have been cloned from an adult. Head of the science lab which created Dolly the sheep. Prof Clark led the Roslin Institute in Midlothian, one of the world s leading animal biotechnology research centers. He played a crucial role in creating the transgenic sheep that earned the institute worldwide fame. He was put in charge of a project to produce human proteins (which could be used in the treatment of human diseases) in sheep's milk. Clark and his team focused their study on the production of the alpha-I-antitryps in protein, which is used for treatment of cystic fibrosis. Prof Clark also founded three spin-out firms from Roslin - PPL Therapeutics, Rosgen and Roslin BioMed.
Dr. Larry Bustard, age 53. Died July 2, 2004 from unknown causes. He was a Sandia scientist in the Department of Energy who helped develop a foam spray to clean up congressional buildings and media sites during the anthrax scare in 2001. He worked at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque. As an expert in bioterrorism, his team came up with a new technology used against biological and chemical agents.
John Mullen, age 67. Died: June 29, 2004. A Nuclear physicist poisoned with a huge dose of arsenic. A nuclear research scientist with McDonnell Douglas. Police investigating will not say how Mullen was exposed to the arsenic or where it came from. At the time of his death he was doing contract work for Boeing.
Dr. Eugene Mallove, age 56. Died: May 14, 2004. Autopsy confirmed Mallove died as a result of several blunt-force injuries to his head and neck. Ruled as murder. Found at the end of his driveway. Alt. Energy Expert who was working on viable energy alternative program and announcement. Norwich Free Academy graduate.Beaten to death during an alleged robbery. Mallove was well respected for his knowledge of cold fusion. He had just published an "open letter" outlining the results of and reasons for his last 15 years in the field of "new energy research." Dr. Mallove was convinced it was only a matter of months before the world would actually see a free energy device.
William T. McGuire, age 39. Found May 5, 2004, last seen late April 2004. Body found in three suitcases floating in Chesapeake Bay. He was NJ University Professor and Senior programmer analyst and adjunct professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. He emerged as one of the world's leading microbiologists and an expert in developing and overseeing multiple levels of biocontainment facilities.
Mohammed Munim al-Izmerly, Died: April 2004. This distinguished Iraqi chemistry professor died in American custody from a sudden hit to the back of his head caused by blunt trauma. It was uncertain exactly how he died, but someone had hit him from behind, possibly with a bar or a pistol. His battered corpse turned up at Baghdad's morgue and the cause of death was initially recorded as "brainstem compression". It was discovered that US doctors had made a 20cm incision in his skull.
Dr. Vladamir "Victor" Korshunov, age 56. Died: February 9, 2002. Found dead on a Moscow street. Head was bashed in. Korshunov was head of the microbiology sub-facility at the Russian State Medical University. He was found dead in the entrance to his home with a head injury. On Feb. 9 the Russian newspaper Pravda reported that Korshunov had probably invented a vaccine protecting someone from any biological weapon harm.
Dr. Don Wiley, age 57. Vanished: December 16, 2001. Molecular Biologist with Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Harvard University, top Deadly Contagious Virus expert, abandoned rental car was found on the Hernando de Soto Bridge outside Memphis, TN. He was heavily involved in research on DNA sequencing, and was last seen at around midnight on November 16, leaving the St. Jude's Children's Research Advisory Dinner at The Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN. Associates attending the dinner said he showed no signs of intoxication, and no one has admitted to drinking with him. Body found floating one month later. Workers at a hydroelectric plant in Louisiana found the body of Don Wiley on Thursday, about 300 miles south of where the molecular biologist was last seen on Nov. 18 at a medical meeting in Memphis. On January 14, 2002 (almost two months later) Shelby County Medical Examiner O.C. Smith announced that his department had ruled Dr. Wiley's death to be "accidental"; the result of massive injuries suffered in a fall from the Hernando de Soto Bridge. Smith said there were paint marks on Wiley's rental car similar to the paint used on construction signs on the bridge, and that the car's right front hubcap was missing. There has been no report as to which construction signs Dr. Wiley hit.
Dr. David Schwartz , age 57. Died: December 10, 2001. Murdered by stabbing with what appeared to be a sword in rural home Loudon County, Virginia. His daughter, who identifies herself as a pagan high priestess, and three of her fellow pagans have been charged. He was extremely well respected in biophysics, and regarded as an authority on DNA sequencing. Three teens that were into the occult were charged with murder in the slashing death.
Dr. Set Van Nguyen, age 44. Died: December 14, 2001. Found dead in the airlock entrance to the walk-in refrigerator in the laboratory he worked at in Victoria State, Australia. The room was full of deadly gas which had leaked from a liquid nitrogen cooling system. Room was vented. Working on a vaccine to protect against biological weapons, or a weapon itself. In January, 2001, the magazine Nature published information that two scientists, Dr. Ron Jackson and Dr. Ian Ramshaw, using genetic manipulation and DNA sequencing, had created an incredibly virulent form of mousepox, a cousin of smallpox and Dr. Nguyen had worked for 15 years at the same Australian facility. Now for the intriguing part of this story. On Friday, November 2nd, the Washington Post reported: "Officials are now scrambling to determine how a quiet, 61-year-old Vietnamese immigrant, riding the subway each day to and from her job in a hospital stockroom, was exposed to the deadly anthrax spores that killed her this week. They worry because there is no obvious connection to the factors common to earlier anthrax exposures and deaths: no clear link to the mail or to the media.
Mark Purdey, his Lawyer, and Veterinarian working with Purdey Die: CJD doctor Mark Purdey was familiar with the expression "abnormal brain protein." Purdey’s house was burned down, his lawyer on mad cow issues was driven off the road and died and the veterinarian in the UK BSE inquiry also died in a mysterious car crash. CJD specialist Dr C. Bruton was killed in a car crash just before he went public with a new research paper. The veterinarian on the case also died in a car crash. Purdey's new lawyer, too, had a car accident, but not fatal. Before Dr. Purdey’s death, he speculated that Dr. C. Bruton (#2 below) might have known more than what was revealed in his paper before he was killed.
Like I said, you be the judge.

Fort Hood Shooting Update
Above is Yousef al-Khattab, formerly Joseph Cohen, an American who claims to be a jihadist and supports the Fort Hood shooting.
I have been closely following the investigations into the Fort Hood shooting and a number of things have struck me.
1. Nidal Hasan Malak is said to have attended the Dar-al Hirjah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia in 2001, at the same time the mosque was attended by 9/11 hijackers Khalid al-Mindhar and Nawaf al-Hamzi. The mainstream media has already been trying to connect Malak to Al Qaeda and reports have been made that he was being monitored for over a year by the CIA and the FBI. Malak also was a frequent attender of strip clubs and indulged in alcohol, another similarity with the 9/11 hijackers. And who can forget the video footage of Malak on the day of the shootings in a convenience store, dressed in traditional Arab garb, with a kufi on his head, he smiles. This image is sure to reheat the prejudices and hatred of the mindless public that still believes in the 9/11 official myth, and does not realize that Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and the modern radical Islamic movement was sponsored by the CIA and directed through Saudi Arabia.
2. Malak has awoken but has supposedly refused to speak to investigators, asking only for his attorney. Strange, usually these "jihadists" cant wait to yell about how they have struck against the "great satan or zionist entity" depending on whatever psychotic ideology they hold.
3. This may be stretching it, Malak was a Psychiatrist and a Major in the US Army, if the US government intelligence agencies had been monitoring him for over a year for ties to Al Qaeda why would he be allowed to go on base into secure areas, and even participate in Homeland Security drills.
One thing I would like to point out is that the initial reporting of the situation, the number of times the story has been changed, and the desperate attempts by both the media and government to tie the shooter to Al Qaeda are painting out a disturbing picture to me, one thing I would like to bring up is the possibility that Malak is in fact a Manchurian candidate.
In April, 1950 the CIA began work on Project BLUEBIRD, the agency's first attempt at mind control. Within two years this became Project ARTICHOKE, according to a declassified CIA memorandum ARTICHOKE's intention was to "exploit operational lines, scientific methods and knowledge that can be utilized in altering the attitudes, beliefs, thought processes, and behavior patterns of agent personnel."
It has been suggested that Sirhan Sirhan, the alleged assassin of Robert Kennedy was most likely under the influence of mind control. What is known is that to this day Sirhan maintains that he has no recollection of the shooting, he was examined by Dr. John W. Weisse JR, the president of the International Society of Stress Analysis, who after analyzing Sirhan's Psychological Stress Evaluation charts noted that he was most likely under the influence of some heavy form of brainwashing/hypnosis.
Perhaps Malak is indeed a psychopathic islamic extremist who somehow decided to forge a career in the military of the country it is claimed he hated so much. The mixed messages and contradicting information I have viewed tells me there is much more to this story than meets the eye.

Fort Hood Shooting
I am wondering how convenient it is that the suspect with an Arab sounding name is dead, the lack of information from the military tells me this story may have more to it than meets the eye.
Reports remain sketchy but it is being claimed that the gunman was against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and had problems with the military. Fort Hood, located in Texas, is the largest active duty Army post in the United States, it remains under lock down at this moment.

LIQUOR OF THE MONTH/DRINK OF THE MONTH
My current liquor of choice:
Maker's Mark is one of my favorite bourbons and whisky's in general, it's great to drink straight on the rocks, in mixed drinks especially Old Fashioneds, and Whiskey Sours, its good to take shots of also.
My current favorite drink: Dirty Grey Goose Martini
This is one of the smoothest and tastiest drinks I've had, no wonder these killed Bogart.
Meet the Sheeple
One girl first said, "Give him a chance hes only been in for 10 months, he needs more time."
I pointed out that in this 10 month period he has not only failed to follow key promises he claimed would be completed in this time frame he has also continued Bush administration policy in virtually every area.
Another student then pointed out to me that the Obama Administration is discontinuing raids on medical marijuana dispensaries. I acknowledged this small positive change but pointed out that the expansion of DHS powers and focus on anti government activity seemed to show that the only real changes Obama is committed to are from bad to worse.
As I began to explain signing statements, my teacher claimed that they where executive orders and I explained how unlike an executive order signing statements did not go through congress or have any oversight or approval by anyone. They where literally examples of the President circumventing and making law as he sees fit.
The Obama girl then told me there was nothing I could do so it was pointless to think the way I did, she explained
"YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO WAKE MOST PEOPLE UP, THERES NO POINT"
I then realized I had stepped into 1984, my teacher went on a tangent of how I was showing a very extreme view of government and kept repeating on how I should "give them a chance" and "have faith". I was now aware that we had temporarily suspended rational thought, the next five minutes the teacher tried to paint me out as some anti government extremist, he made a comment on how I should go to Ghana if I think the US is bad. When he pointed out that the US government couldnt be that bad because they didnt interfere with the opposition, I decided to go out swinging by cracking a joke about Bush sending anthrax to the senators against the Iraq War. He made some comment about me being a conspiracy theorist, lets just say that this wasnt one of my more coolheaded moments in a student-teacher discussion.
What have we become? Has it got to the point were personal attacks being leveled against people that ask questions and dissent from popular opinion is considered the norm? Where does it end? Thomas Jefferson once said "Dissent is the greatest form of Patriotism" in today's America a quote like that will lead to someone calling you a communist and going on a "love it or leave it" rant.
To close out, I enjoyed Jad's article a lot he made a bunch of good points its the one right below this.
Thanks for the article man.

Private Fucknuts and the Pyramid Elite
This article talks about Full Metal Jacket, and how Stanley Kubrick uses the movie to talk about the way the military crushes the individual identities of everyone in a unit and meshes them together into one Borg-like killing machine (fun fact- in the novel the book is based on, Sergeant Hartman's last words to Private Pyle are "I'm proud of you.").
I think we can look at the unit being trained in the movie as a picture of our country in miniature. Like we and our fellow citizens, the men of Private Joker's platoon must think a certain way, must act a certain way, must BELIEVE a certain way, and they must become like one man, perfectly trained and coordinated to dedicate their lives and deaths to the benefit of men they will never see or know. In their case that means distant generals, some far-off military staff sitting in air-conditioned offices munching Sun Chips and getting blown by their secretary while they get their balls shot off in hell. For us, though, those invisible scumbags are the international bankers and financiers who direct the most powerful institutions of US society- and global institutions like the IMF and often the UN.
Which brings me to my next point. Just like the platoon is socialized through different rituals that build military solidarity- like shaving the head, training and marching together, and finally beating the ass of the handy community scapegoat-Private Fatbody- the American public has been trained be a good little body politic for the benefit of the people who really matter, the people whose families all seem to have European coats-of-arms and give generously to all the right think tanks. it's less obvious- we don't have Sergeant Hartman, we have Ann Coulter (and Al Franken, for that matter). We don't march or sing misogynist and militarist songs together either; we just feast on a nonstop diet of propaganda, sometimes soothing, sometimes hotblooded, a society-wide lullaby pumped like a radio signal out of D.C. and Wall Street. An intoxicating drumbeat of FOOTBALL! WORLD SERIES! I-RACKY TERRORISTS! THE MEXICANS! AAAAY-RABS! and that perennial favorite 9/11! 9/11! 9/11! We don't have Stars and Stripes- that's primitive! we have the New York Times. A peace sign on our combat helmet? The amazing vanishing Pro-Obama antiwar movement. Why, we should be as lucky as that platoon! At least they're taught their chain of command. We act like we learned politics in Disneyland.
Don't be Private Pyle! But don't be Joker either. Don't let the machine crush you, but don't become part of it either. Resist! Remember, your voice is your greatest weapon, and the only liberated territory you need is between your ears! As my honored colleague said in an earlier post, for Christ's sake don't go into debt, and GET INVOLVED. There's usually many more people who believe in something than will actually work for and educate their neighbors about it, but we can't afford the normal ratio. Anyone who understands these issues has taken the red pill and should act accordingly! LIIIIIIVE FROM THE OLD REPUBLIC, IT'S THOMAS PAINE! IT'S THOMAS JEFFERSON! IT'S GEORGE WASHINGTON AND NO FOREIGN ENTANGLENTS! IT'S THE CONSTITUTION! IT'S THE SECOND AMENDMENT AND THE AMERICAN FUCKING REVOLUTION, AND SORRY IF THAT'S JUST A HALLMARK CARD FOR YOU LIBERAL-CANDYASSES AND CONSERVATIVE NEOFASCISTS. The answer to 1984 is 1776, and with that, I take my leave.

What to do
stop this stuff from going on. I will try to list as best as I can successful ways to combat the New World Order:
Spread the information- These people only exist due to our cooperation, by educating people on the
reality of the government today and all the threats it poses to citizens, their rights, and the rule of law in this
country, we are working towards ending the 2 party dictatorship that rules over American politics.
DONT VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT UNLESS THEY HAVE A GOOD RECORD OF STANDING UP
FOR THE CONSTITUTION AND RIGHTS OF AMERICANS. Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are fighting the good fight
but we need more people like them in Congress.
Don't go into debt- The bankers that control the economy rely and make money on debt. Don't get a credit card unless
you can afford it, dont buy anything unless you need it or can afford it, avoiding debt is key to taking power away
from the banking elite.
Don't support the military industrial complex- Don't buy products, do business, endorse, or work for defense contractors
and companies that rely on the military industrial complex. Avoid Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and all other groups.
Don't work for the system unless you are working to change it from the inside- If you are going to work in government
keep your eyes and ears open. If you hear or see something unethical, dont take part in it and expose it to the public. The government are public servants, anytime they betray our trust or use our money illegally or unethically they should be held
accountable just like everyone else is when they break the law.
Get involved- Start a blog, talk to senators, congressmen, write editorials for newspapers, support alternative media, avoid
the mainstream media at all costs, donate to REAL charities, do volunteer work, help the people that need help most, DONT SUPPORT GOVERNMENT HANDOUTS, you are only adding to the machine. If you want to help the poor or working class, take the initiative and do it yourself, don't expect the corrupt government to provide any real support or relief.
Thanks- Alex B
FBI "Terror Watch List" has 400,000 names
1,600 are suggested daily for FBI's list
Number of names on terrorist watch list at 400,000, agency says
By Walter Pincus
Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, November 1, 2009
Newly released FBI data offer evidence of the broad scope and complexity of the nation's terrorist watch list, documenting a daily flood of names nominated for inclusion to the controversial list.
During a 12-month period ended in March this year, for example, the U.S. intelligence community suggested on a daily basis that 1,600 people qualified for the list because they presented a "reasonable suspicion," according to data provided to the Senate Judiciary Committee by the FBI in September and made public last week.
FBI officials cautioned that each nomination "does not necessarily represent a new individual, but may instead involve an alias or name variant for a previously watchlisted person."
The ever-churning list is said to contain more than 400,000 unique names and over 1 million entries. The committee was told that over that same period, officials asked each day that 600 names be removed and 4,800 records be modified. Fewer than 5 percent of the people on the list are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Nine percent of those on the terrorism list, the FBI said, are also on the government's "no fly" list.
This information, and more about the FBI's wide-ranging effort against terrorists, came in answers from FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III to Senate Judiciary Committee members' questions. The answers were first made public last week in Steven Aftergood's Secrecy News.
Sen. Russell D. Feingold (D-Wis.), who has shown concern over some of the FBI's relatively new investigative techniques assessing possible terrorist, criminal or foreign intelligence activities, drew new information from the agency. Before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the FBI needed initial information that a person or group was engaged in wrongdoing before it could open a preliminary investigation.
Under current practice, no such information is needed. That led Feingold to ask how many "assessments" had been initiated and how many had led to investigations since new guidelines were put into effect in December 2008. The FBI said the answer was "sensitive" and would be provided only in classified form.
Feingold was given brief descriptions of the types of assessments that can be undertaken: The inquiries can be opened by individual agents "proactively," meaning on his or her own or in response to a lead about a threat. Other assessments are undertaken to identify or gather information about potential targets or terrorists, to gather information to aid intelligence gathering and related to matters of foreign intelligence interest.
Feingold pointed to a November 2008 Justice Department inspector general audit showing that in 2006, approximately 219,000 tips from the public led to the FBI's determination that there were 2,800 counterterrorism threats and suspicious incidents that year. "Regardless of the reporting source, FBI policy requires that each threat or suspicious incident should receive some level of review and assessment to determine the potential nexus to terrorism," the audit said.
In a different vein, the FBI was asked why it is losing new recruits as special agents and support personnel at a time when terrorist investigations are increasing. The FBI responded that failed polygraph tests rather than other factors, such as the length of time for getting security clearances, are the main reason recruits are ending their efforts to join the bureau. In the past year, polygraphs were the cause of roughly 40 percent of special-agent applicants dropping out, the records showed.
The Death of Reason
Yesterday I was called by a political organization that said they would like to educate me about the "facts" in the upcoming Virginia governor's race. I decided to have a little fun and played along, I was informed that the group calling represents a "Civilian Accountability Organization" that they claimed served as some sort of watchdog during political campaigns. They wanted to tell me about Bob McDonnell the Republican candidate for Virginia. I listened as this caller went on about McDonnell's sexism and other issues which are of legitimate concern. He asked if I was planning on voting, I replied that I found both of the candidates disagreeable. I asked him if he knew about Creigh Deeds opinion that the Supreme Court decision to ban execution of juveniles was wrong, Deeds claimed that Virginia had the right to execute juveniles regardless of what the Supreme Court said. This same "progressive" has made the claim numerous times, that if elected governor he would ban all semi-automatic rifles. The caller said "Wow I didnt know that" I told him he needed to do more research if he planned on holding politicians accountable, thanked him for the call, and hung up the phone.
The so called "progressive" has become a very disturbing and dangerous trend in politics today. The "progressive" will tell you that they are anti-war, but any military undertaking done by a Democrat in office will be excused as either justified or overlooked by these so called liberals and their peaceful ideals. When one points out that it was under the Clinton administration that the sanctioning of Iraq was devised which killed over 500,000 Iraqi children, the progressive will quickly point out that George W. Bush started the Iraq War and is the person to blame for all our current problems.
This is the fundamental flaw of the so called liberal. While I agree with them wholeheartedly on the fact that Bush was perhaps the worst president of all time, and uniquely corrupt, evil, and crypto-fascistic in his politics, I have found that the so called liberal has a fuzzy memory when it comes to the rampant corruption of Democrat Lyndon B Johnson, a war-mongering mad dog who condemned thousands of young Americans and tens of thousands of Vietnamese children to death.
The so called "conservative" is just as hypocritical. They will claim to be fiscal conservatives yet whenever a Republican gets elected into office spending goes through the roof. They claim to be for low taxes, but taxes continue to remain a burden for working American families. They will claim to be for small government, yet have no problems with the insane expansion of executive powers that went on during the Reagan and Bush administrations. They will make straw man arguments and excuses for Constitutional violations like the Patriot Act and come up with ridiculous movie scenarios to justify the use of torture. They will throw around terms like "anti-american" and call you a "liberal" if you are against the war or point out corruption in the American government. The so called "conservative" is a farce. They ignore the Republican parties embracement of illegal immigration and open borders policies, they look over the Neo-Conservative interventionist policies that go completely against what real conservatives like Thomas Jefferson believed.
We are experiencing a death of reason in this country today. Recently in my Sociology 202 class, my teacher made the claim that isolationist's where individuals who despised other cultures and sought to segregate themselves from the outside world. I pointed out that he seemed to have confused the term with ethnocentrism, isolationists I said, are individuals who don't believe our country has any business or reason to go meddle with the affairs of other nations. I have noticed on numerous occasions, people will make false statements about isolationists, capitalism, and have a general misunderstanding of what a real liberal or conservative is. A real liberal-progressive is not someone that seeks to create a nanny-state, but instead seeks to prevent corruption in the corporate and banking industries, they are truly anti-war and follow isolationist policies. A true conservative seeks to ensure personal liberties, keep government expansion and spending to a minimal, they are not out to place heavy taxes on the wages of working Americans.
Ignorance and apathy are the norm, the TV watching sports culture has infested the minds of many Americans. In casual conversation at school I have noticed that there is a good 40% chance that football, basketball, or baseball will be mentioned depending on the time of year. The average American household has TV on for at least 7 hours in a 24 hour period. 1 out of 4 Americans do not even read a single book in a year. I am not trying to be self righteous and say you shouldn't watch TV or football. I watch Curb Your Enthusiasm religiously, and my friend Kerim follows soccer. But we both recognize that TV, movies, and sports while entertaining, can become distractions if they become the central focus of peoples free time. All I ask is that people keep their eyes and ears open, turn on the filter of reason when watching mainstream media and movies. We are being inundated with ideas other than our own constantly, make sure these ideas are validated in reality not what the mainstream media defines and decides to be reality.
Thank You- Alex B, November 1, 2009

Very Suspicious Death of Nuclear Expert at the UN
A British nuclear expert who fell from the 17th floor of a United Nations building did not commit suicide and may have been hurled to his death, says a doctor who carried out a second post-mortem examination.
Timothy Hampton, 47, a scientist involved in monitoring nuclear activity, was found dead last week at the bottom of a stairwell in Vienna.
An initial autopsy concluded that there were ‘no suspicious circumstances’. But it is understood that Mr Hampton’s widow Olena Gryshcuk and her family were deeply unhappy with that verdict.
Now a doctor who undertook a second post-mortem examination on behalf of the family believes she has found evidence that Mr Hampton did not die by his own hands.
Professor Kathrin Yen, of the Ludwig Institute in Graz, Austria, which specialises in traumatology research, said she had more tests to complete on Mr Hampton, who had a three-year-old son with Ms Gryshcuk.
But she said one possible theory was that Mr Hampton was carried to the 17th floor from his workplace on the sixth floor and thrown to his death.
Professor Yen used new forensic techniques to detect internal bruising caused by strangulation which would not be visible to the eye.
She said: ‘In my opinion, it does not look like suicide. My example is that somebody took him up to the top floor and took him down.
‘At the moment I don’t have the police reports. We did a CT scan. From the external exam, I saw injuries on the neck but these were not due to strangulation.’
It is expected to take three weeks for blood test results to come back. Austrian police said they believe Mr Hampton committed suicide.
He had been working for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) at the UN building.
CTBTO staff monitor tremors in countries worldwide to uncover illegal nuclear tests. It has been suggested that Mr Hampton may have been involved in talks discussing nuclear testing in Iran. The UN has strongly denied the claims.
His body was discovered last Tuesday at about 8pm. Friends said it was usual for him to work late into the night. His widow, a weapons inspector for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), was working in Japan when her husband died.
A source close to the family said life had not been easy for Mr Hampton, who was often away from his wife and son.
But the source added that he was ‘not the suicide type’. He said: ‘Tim was rather introverted. He changed his life many times.’
Trained in Britain as a bio-chemist, Mr Hampton worked in a bio-lab before moving into construction.
He then worked on nuclear test-ban projects before joining the UN in 1998, said the CTBTO.
The IAEA, an independent and separate organisation, inspects nuclear plants worldwide and is based in the building next to the CTBTO in Vienna.
Under a year ago, an American died at the IAEA in strikingly similar circumstances, his body being found at the bottom of a stairwell.
A UN spokeswoman said an investigation into that case continues, though Austrian police have concluded it was suicide.
She said: ‘This might have been a copycat thing in the CTBTO.’

America's Drug Crisis: Brought to You by the CIA from CounterPunch.org
Brought to You by the CIA
America's Drug Crisis
By DAVE LINDORFF
Next time you see a junkie sprawled at the curb in the downtown of your nearest city, or read about someone who died of a heroin overdose, just imagine a big yellow sign posted next to him or her saying: “Your Federal Tax Dollars at Work.”
Kudos to the New York Times, and to reporters Dexter Filkins, Mark Mazzetti and James Risen, for their lead article today reporting that Ahmed Wali Karzai, brother of Afghanistan’s stunningly corrupt President Hamid Karzai, a leading drug lord in the world’s major opium-producing nation, has for eight years been on the CIA payroll.
Okay, the article was lacking much historical perspective (more on that later), and the dead hand of top editors was evident in the overly cautious tone (I loved the third paragraph, which stated that “The financial ties and close working relationship between the intelligence agency and Mr. Karzai raises significant questions about America’s war strategy, which is currently under review at the White House.” Well, duh! It should be raising questions about why we are even in Afghanistan, about who should be going to jail at the CIA, and about how can the government explain this to the over 1000 soldiers and Marines who have died supposedly helping to build a new Afghanistan). But that said, the newspaper that helped cheerlead us into the pointless and criminal Iraq invasion in 2003, and that prevented journalist Risen from running his exposé of the Bush/Cheney administration’s massive warrantless National Security Agency electronic spying operation until after the 2004 presidential election, this time gave a critically important story full play, and even, appropriately, included a teaser in the same front-page story about October being the most deadly month yet for the US in Afghanistan.
What the article didn’t mention at all is that there is a clear historical pattern here. During the Vietnam War, the CIA, and its Air America airline front-company, were neck deep in the Southeast Asian heroin trade. At the time, it was Southeast Asia, not Afghanistan, that was the leading producer and exporter of opium, mostly to the US, where there was a heroin epidemic.
A decade later, in the 1980s, during the Reagan administration, as the late investigative journalist Gary Webb so brilliantly documented first in a series titled “Dark Alliance” in the San Jose Mercury newspaper, and later in a book by that same name, the CIA was deeply involved in the development of and smuggling of cocaine into the US, which was soon engulfed in a crack cocaine epidemic—one that continues to destroy African American and other poor communities across the country. (The Times role here was sordid—it and other leading papers, including the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times—did despicable hit pieces on Webb shamelessly trashing his work and his career, and ultimately driving him to suicide, though his facts have held up. For the whole sordid tale, read Alex Cockburn’s and Jeffrey St. Clair’sWhiteout: the CIA, Drugs and the Press) In this case, Webb showed that the Agency was actually using the drugs as a way to fund arms, which it could use its own planes to ferry down to the Contra forces it was backing to subvert the Sandinista government in Nicaragua at a time Congress had barred the US from supporting the Contras.
And now we have Afghanistan, once a sleepy backwater of the world with little connection to drugs (the Taliban, before their overthrow by US forces in 20001, had, according to the UN, virtually eliminated opium production there), but now responsible for as much as 80 percent of the world’s opium production—this at a time that the US effectively finances and runs the place, with an occupying army that, together with Afghan government forces that it controls, outnumbers the Taliban 12-1 according to a recent AP story. (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jWM24PqWpJg-935bFXbYANhGJ_lQD9BJLDVO0).
The real story here is that where the US goes, the drug trade soon follows, and the leading role in developing and nurturing that trade appears to be played by the Central Intelligence Agency.
Your tax dollars at work.
The issue at this point should not be how many troops the US should add to its total in Afghanistan. It shouldn’t even be over whether the US should up the ante or scale back to a more limited goal of hunting terrorists. It should be about how quickly the US can extricate its forces from Afghanistan, how soon the Congress can start hearings into corruption and drug pushing by the CIA, and how soon the Attorney General’s office will impanel a grand jury to probe CIA drug dealing.
Americans, who for years have supported a stupid, blundering and ineffective “War on Drugs” in this country, and who mindlessly back “zero-tolerance” policies towards drugs in schools and on the job, should demand a “zero-tolerance” policy toward drugs and dealing with drug pushers in government and foreign policy, including the CIA.
For years we have been fed the story that the Taliban are being financed by their taxes on opium farmers. That may be partly true, but recently we’ve been learning that it’s not the real story. Taliban forces in Afghanistan, it turns out, have been heavily subsidized by protection money paid to them by civilian aid organizations, including even American government-funded aid programs, and even, reportedly, by the military forces of some of America’s NATO allies (there is currently a scandal in Italy concerning such payments by Italian forces). But beyond that, the opium industry, far from being controlled by the Taliban, has been, to a great extent, controlled by the very warlords with which the US has allied itself, and, as the Times now reports, by Ahmed Wali Karzai, the president’s own brother.
Karzai, we are also told by Filkins, Mazzetti and Risen, was a key player in producing hundreds of thousands of fraudulent ballots for his brother’s election theft earlier this year. Left unsaid is whether the CIA might have played a role in that scam too. In a country where finding printing presses is sure to be difficult, and where transporting bales of counterfeit ballots is risky, you have to wonder whether an agency like the CIA, which has ready access to printers and to helicopters, might have had a hand in keeping its assets in control in Kabul.
Sure that’s idle speculation on my part, but when you learn that America’s spook agency has been keeping not just Karzai, but lots of other unsavory Afghani warlords, on its payroll, such speculation is only logical.
The real attitude of the CIA here was best illustrated by an anonymous quote in the Filkins, Mazzetti and Risen piece, where a “former CIA officer with experience in Afghanistan,” explaining the agency’s backing of Karzai, said, “Virtually every significant Afghan figure has had brushes with the drug trade. If you are looking for Mother Teresa, she doesn’t live in Afghanistan.”
“The end justifies the means” is America’s foreign policy and military motto, clearly.
The Times article exposing the CIA link to Afghanistan’s drug-kingpin presidential brother should be the last straw for Americans. President Obama’s “necessary” war in Afghanistan is nothing but a sick joke.
The opium, and resulting heroin, that is flooding into Europe and America thanks to the CIA’s active support of the industry and its owners in Afghanistan are doing far more grave damage to our societies than any turbaned terrorists armed with suicide bomb vests could hope to inflict.
The Afghanistan War has to be ended now.
Let the prosecution of America’s government drug pushers begin.
A note about Sen. John Kerry: Kerry (D-MA), who went to Afghanistan to press, for the Obama administration, to get his "good friend" President Karzai to agree to a run-off election after Karzai’s earlier theft of the first round, has played a shameful role here. Once, back when he still had an ounce of the principle that he had back when he was a Vietnam vet speaking out against the Indochina War, Kerry held hearings on the CIA's cocaine-for-arms operation in Central America. Now he's hugging the CIA's drug connections.
